Thanks for your response. I got an e-mail on the 16th saying no funding for me. I was just curious if anyone was getting anything and how much. Unfortunately, I declined their offer. I'm in NY so I'm choosing a school closer to home. Hope I'm making the right choice. Good luck to you!

No I totally understand where you are coming from. Unfortunately, you may not getclosure any time soon because Columbia has given their students until May 15th to decide. Can I ask how you decided on Northwestern? I am going back n forth between Northwestern and Columbia. I can't make up my mind. I am a career changer so I have no background in speech. Both schools are going to take me equal amounts of time to finish. Also I've lived in NY my whole entire life so that's whats making Columbia more appealing for me. I visited Northwestern and it was located in a great area too. What have you heard about both schools through the grapevine? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Flowergirl and Elle I would not assume you are rejected until you actually hear that you are rejected. TC has its admitted students weekend next weekend and NYU have theirs this coming Tuesday.Many students have not accepted their offers because the deadline does not pass. After people attend these events they are more likely to send in their decisions. I am predicting after these events happen is when you will start to hear your decisions. And, I am quite sure they will have a second round of these admitted students events somewhere down the line. Don't stress!

Is anyone attending the Teachers College admitted students weekend next week? If so, any ideas on what to wear. Also, I'm a little confused on the times of the events because on the website it says starts on April 9th at 8 A.M. and ends on April 10th on 3:30 P.M. Whet time does it end on April 9th and what time does it start on April 10th?

Just received an acceptance letter from NYU in the mail today. I will be turning down the offer. I hope it helps someone out there

Congrats on your acceptance to Teachers College. Do you mind sharing your stats? Also, can you let me know when you submitted your application. I submitted mine on November 11th so I was under the impression I would know by now

I believe you need to go into the application to view the decision. Therefore, you should probably use the PIN and password you used to log into your application and not your TC ID number. I don't think you will be able to see a decision until you receive the e-mail from them saying a decision has been made on your application. Good luck to you!

Syngard- What scholarship e-mail from NYU are you referring to? I didn't get one either. Oh no!
