  1. Thanks for the advice, and congrats on the potential acceptance! Would you mind pm-ing me your POI's initials? No pressure if you're not comfortable doing that.
  2. Saaaame, I'm dying. Do you think they notify everyone of their status at once, like someone is waitlisted, would he or she be informed of that at the same time as the first choice is offered a position?
  3. If you could share with me as well I'd really appreciate it! Sorry that happened by the way, that's a huge let-down I'm sure.
  4. Hahah naturally, it's impossible not to. I wound up going through all the past acceptances and interview dates cause I'm insane. It seems like in the past, people have heard back around 2 weeks later (which feels like an eternity). I'm thinking that they'll probably discuss how interviews went at lab meeting (wednesday) so at the very least we probably shouldn't expect to hear anything before then. Best of luck!
  5. This may be a long shot, but did anyone who interviewed at UConn this past week ask someone when we should be hearing back? It totally slipped my mind and I don't really feel comfortable reaching out to ask... My POI responded to a thank you note and said I would be hearing back "soon," but that could mean anything. Ahhhhh
  6. Thanks a lot! It feels like a weight off my shoulders every time I read about people's positive experiences. Good luck on your interview as well! I wonder if we're interviewing at the same school...
  7. Thanks, remembering that even a terrible interview isn't the end of the world is definitely something we should all keep in mind. I can be a nervous interviewer but I think trying to go in with that perspective will help to calm my nerves!
  8. Hi guys, Sorry if this isn't the appropriate place to post this, but I have my first interview in 3 days with my top choice school and I'm kind of freaking out. Does anyone have any last-minute preparation tips or suggestions on how to relax before/during interviews? Any and all advice welcome. Thanks in advance!
  9. Congrats on the interview! Would you mind PMing me your POI's initials?
  10. Can I ask when you received this update? I never got an email about that, but when I checked my status on their website just now it said the same thing...
  11. Oh it wasn't a universal email, it was just to notify me that they still hadn't received some materials. That just happened to be her email signature.
  12. I heard back from Drexel & will be interviewing on the 20th. Also applied to UConn & Fairleigh Dickinson. I haven't heard back from UConn, but I received an email a while back from a program coordinator at Fairleigh Dickinson and her email signature said that interviews will take place 2/12 & 2/17 and that we'd be notified a week to a week and a half before then.
