    I had begun to psych myself up to reapply next year and then I end up receiving 2 acceptances in one day. I still can't believe it. I feel so relieved and grateful. Best of luck for everyone still waiting for responses.

      Thanks for posting this! I'm beginning to think that I'll get nothing this year (2 rejections, 6 to go), but this looks hopeful! And congratulations :)

      @MilesToGo Thank you very much. 

      I can empathize with you. I received my two rejections early on, which made me apprehensive about the rest of my applications. I just had made up to reapply next year and had contacted professors about ways to improve next year's applications. Then my fortune changed. Moral of the story, don't give up hope... it's still early and you still have 6 applications in play.
