I've known people to be accepted into grad programs after being wait listed. It depends on how many of the people accepted, reject their slot. What I don't know if there is particular order of the wait list.. @Kim08 were you a TWU undergrad? How did you know to set up a twu.edu email?

are you guys using the twu.edu email domains as your primary emails? Or are ya'll using personal emails?

@Speechiegirl12Wow, that's awesome!!! I think it's very easy to start to look at applicants like they're all the same, especially when it's back to back. Sometimes all it takes is a second glance. Congrats to your friend! Have you not heard anything yet??

@kristens I'm so sorry! I know the feeling. It's a very competitive major where everyone almost has the exact same record. I wonder if there's someone you can ask specifically what went wrong. If it makes you feel any better, I just found out yesterday that TWU never rec'd one of my transcripts (no one contacted me and I had confirmation that they did rec'v it) and therefore my application was not processed. My app packet was also delivered to the wrong place (I think I've tracked it down). Keep your head up. Things will work out the way they're suppose to. Good luck!

I applied to UH last year, and they sent out the "yes/accepted" letters first..

@JoD3o Thanks! I tracked it back in October and it was delivered and signed for on campus, but not to the right building! I had no idea up until yesterday when I was reading about the confirmation emails and it prompted me to call UPS. I sent an email and called S. Colton, so hopefully I know soon.

@JoD3o No problem! I'm assuming you haven't heard anything yet either.. I'm a little worried because I did not put an email address on my packet (have no idea why!), but it is on my online application. I never rec'd that confirmation email that I've read on a lot of other posts.. Not sure what's going on..

To everyone to hasn't rec'd a decision letter yet, TWU will be sending them out on Thursday (yesterday) and today. I called and asked. I personally haven't heard anything yet.. Applied to region 10. Good luck everyone!

I applied. I read on another post that they go in alphabetical order. My last name starts with a "B," and I haven't heard anything. However, I don't remember getting an email confirming that my application had been received and processed. I tracked the hard copy, and it was received by the front desk, and my application online was submitted successfully. I hope that's a good sign. Did everyone get an email confirming it was received and processed?
