    I attended the first session as well and on Friday 1/20 received an email requesting a good time to call followed by a call and admittance. I am a US citizen. I would not worry too much because the person who emailed/called me (faculty member I had interviewed with) said that most people will not hear back until after the last interview session in February (and in fact people accepted now will not be getting an official email invite until then). Good luck!!!! I hope you hear back soon.

    Hi guys -- I got an invite from BU GPN on Sunday but I have no idea if they send out invites all at once or anything. But at least if anything it does seem like they are beginning to send them.

    I also just got an invite from Yale and I am very excited (!!!) but also really not sure what to do because their interview dates conflict precisely with UPenn. Is anyone else experiencing this problem/have an suggestions? I was not able to get into the January session for Penn. Edit: I'm really sorry to whine about this, I just have no clue what to do :/

    Sooooo I just called them and they said they're still sending out invites "today, later today, early next week" Edit: I feel like I have been calling programs more than most people do. Hope this isn't a bad thing :/

    Congrats to NYU folks!!!! For myself though I am super bummed... Wonder if there's any chance they don't send out all emails at once?

    Called NYU CNS (so idk about Sackler) and they said they just had their committee meeting earlier this week and will be sending out invitations in the next few days? Having said this, I thought I had already seen people get invites but maybe I'm confused. I'm pretty sure I have seen people hearing back from NYU Sackler. As for Columbia, I don't know for sure when invites are coming, but folks have said some time this week is likely based on previous years (earlier in this thread)? (Also I feel you... so so so anxious......)

    I'm not sure about other schools, but I talked to a WashU Neuro program coordinator the day before the deadline and she told me they get a ton of (maybe the most? I forget her wording) applications right before the deadline, in the 3 days leading up to it. So I can't imagine that it would hurt you, although I guess you never know! For the record, I also submitted to two programs that I have interviews for literally hours before the deadline... So I'm hopeful that it doesn't really matter when apps are submitted as long as it's before the deadline. (edit: woops sorry I didn't realize someone had already addressed this!)

    Hi guys! Has anyone heard specifically from Columbia's neurobio/behavioral program? I think I've seen a few people say they've been contacted for biological/biomed sciences but not this, though maybe I misread. Anxiously waiting...

    not sure, I last minute decided not to apply to NIH-GPP but I think it might be two separate invites to watch out for based on the two separate interview dates?

    Yale INP committee doesn't meet until january third! (emailed in panic about a belated letter of rec so they let me know)
