I believe you are waiting for 1 of the 2 PHN spots.
-
It is! Thank you! I hope everybody hears good news soon!!

Accepted to HSPH PhD in Nutrition
-
Good to know!! Where did you hear this?
-
I applied to Harvard PHS Nutrition track. Had two interviews last week, but haven't heard anything since. They did confirm for me that they created a shortlist for interviews, but Nutrition might operate entirely differently from SBS and GH so don't let that crush your hopes.
-
Yes. And I sincerely hope everybody views that as devastating, not a competitive advantage.
-
I really don't think they mind, if it helps.
-
Hi, sorry, yes I was contacted for an interview. It sounded like they had created a shortlist but maybe contact the department to be sure? In other news, I'm now cringing at some of my interview responses. This process is so stressful.
-
Anybody want to claim the interview request for Harvard PHS PhD, track not specified? Curious to know what track!
-
No. Did you receive an interview?
-
Admitted to which track? SBS? I'm not sure. I applied for nutrition. Maybe it's also possible that interviews are only to seek clarifications on parts of your application, and thus not everybody would have to do one? So you may still be under consideration. I wouldn't rule anything out until you officially hear back. Maybe email them and ask?

Re: Harvard PHS PhD, I heard from a current student I was connected with that this is the first year they are doing interviews?
-
Jumping in to ask - has anybody heard anything about HSPH nutrition (PHS PhD) doing interviews?
-
Harvard GSAS PhD applicants - have you received any sort of portal access? I received a portal login for my SM2 application but nothing from GSAS for the PhD in Population Health Sciences.

What field are you applying to? If health/medicine/stats related then I am happy to help. PM me. -
I took this approach this year as well, but for Epi not Health Policy. The waiting is miserable!!
