Anyone else notice that there has been NO posts to the results page for Clinical today? Seems to be the first time this cycle that's happened...

I got similar feedback at a school I was waitlisted at. Was waitlisted and it totally sucks. Let's hope for good news for both of us!

The worst part is that I am the top choice at one of the schools but my POI was unable to make an official offer due to senior faculty status -- needed to first ensure that junior faculty and smaller labs fill their spots first. Ugh. Being first but last...it's worse than normal waitlist...

I interviewed at 2 locations for clinical psych and I'm waitlisted at both! So glad this thread exists.

We actually had the same POI! I received the same feedback from him about 2 weeks ago. Seems this year was particularly crazy with number of applicants and competitiveness.

Carnegie Mellon doesn't have a clinical program but I applied for the Health/Social program there and haven't heard anything. Called a few weeks ago and it sounded like not a lot of invites had gone out but I assume they have by now.

I had a similar experience, got two interview invites within an hour of each other on the same day and it's been radio silence from every other school I applied to. I got waitlisted at both...so...at least you have an offer! Also, don't forget how difficult these programs are to get into. Getting an offer at 1 is impressive. Congrats!

Yeah I had a lot of POI's that I contacted let me know that they strongly encourage I apply given my interests. I was sitting at around 70th percentile for GRE so maybe that had something to do with not getting invites. Kind of sucked because they gave me a glimmer of hope! I didn't ask them why I wasn't extended an interview but I assume it'd be pretty similar

From what my mentor told me (who is the DCT at my undergraduate university), the GRE is more to weed people out at the beginning. At my school, above 50th percentile gets your application looked at. For example, I have gotten two interviews and offers at both and I was 155V and 157Q (even though my practice scores were in the 160s......still pissed about that). But it got me in the door. At the end of the say, if you have STELLAR GPA and GRE scores but not research experience to match that...it just looks confusing and not impressive. It's all about balance but it's important to show that you can stand out nationally and not just at the university you're at.

My friend was at Syracuse a few weekends ago and just received an acceptance :/ Don't know POI or anything more than just that.

I was emailed in Dec too. I'm meeting with her tomorrow as part of interviews but she isn't my POI. Interesting because I didn't know this either. Good luck to you as well!

No idea how many but the interview is today and tomorrow. I know that they have let people know about being waitlisted so if you haven't heard, it probably isn't great news :/

Anyone heard anything from University of Kentucky post interviews?

It is very likely that those aren't updated until March or April and typically programs will just give no feedback at all :/

Ohio State had their interviews last week

According to someone on here a few weeks ago, they called and all interviews had been extended. I guess there was some weirdness with funding this year and they couldn't invite a lot of people? I called and the woman who answered was extremely rude so I didn't really get an answer.

One of my best friends is there now to interview. I do not know if this is the only interview but it is at least the first round and second rounds are typically rare at any school. You could also always call them to see if all interviews have been extended.

I called schools for this because I didn't want them to know my name...which might sound weird but often you can just call and ask if interviews have been extended to everyone this year. If they say no then you can ask if there is a shortlist or a way to check the status of your application, etc. At one school they offered to check for me, which was super nice.

When you interview at one of your top schools and they say they will call this week if you're offered admission and it's Thursday and no call and no one has posted on the results page
