How did you find out? email? Mail? Myfile update?

This is killing me. Stop toying with us York!

I have not received anything from York and am wondering if York does rolling admissions or if not receiving an email today means I didn't get in or got wait-listed. I checked my status on myfile and it still says "no decision."

Congratulations! I'm so glad you got in this time!

Nothing for York I'm tempted to call them and ask when they will release admissions but then I may not be so happy with my results ;p Just want to know what direction to move my life in.

So...it's almost the end of February and nothing. Come on York put us out of our misery.

Never compare yourself to others, especially someone who has a demonstrated history of lying in this forum. Your time will come and when it does it will be all the sweeter. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you for the next cycle!

Fingers crossed they actually keep with their timeline. I looked over the past years Canadian M.S.W. threads and the time they notify students seems to fluctuate so we shouldn't be too overly concerned if we don't hear back late February.

Thank you for starting a new thread Roxxx! Hopefully this one will be kept honest and free of trolling. I'm waiting to hear back from York Advanced standing and from Ryerson. I'm finding the waiting process is intense and can really play a number on my head. I'm working on taking a deep breath and thinking of a plan B if I don't make it in this year.

For those who did speak out, especially revealing the discrepancies in statements, I just want to say thank you and I'm sorry that you are now being "punished" because you cared enough for the group to call out problematic behaviour within.

I think it's wonderful if people from past years are here to give encouragement and/or advice. What I don't appreciate is when blatant lies are being thrown out which only serve to play on people in this forums vulnerabilities and fears. I also did not appreciate the tragic murder of the people who were praying in the mosque being used to lecture, berate and chastise others on this thread. I too am interested in Yweang's motivations and would hope that he can find some healing for whatever causes him to interact in this manner.

This years forum is relatively quiet compared to the last previous two years. Maybe less applicants this year (fingers crossed).

I know one person in this forum wrote that they had received a rejection letter for York and I'm wondering if anyone else has gotten one or knows of others who have been rejected. Yweang had mentioned that rejections go out first so it would help to gauge where we all stand.

So we shouldn't expect to hear anything until early March then. Sigh.

I'm surprised that they have sent out the two year M.S.W decision before the advanced standing decisions. I am sorry you didn't get in and I hope you get the advanced standing B.S.W. Good luck!

Anyone else feel like their life is in limbo while they are waiting to find out if they are accepted? I don't know whether I should be looking for a full time job or planning for another year of school.

Not too much longer for those of us who applied for advanced standing then. The waiting is starting to mess with my head.

My York application also says no decision yet.
