It was an acceptance email from the Laney system and then saying to check your account for the decision. Professors have then been reaching out soon after. Perhaps they are sending in batches?
Yeah, very understandable on not trying to seem pushy. I usually try to avoid contacting admissions people, but I made an exception in this case because I'm planning work-related travel now and want to try my best to not pick conflicting dates.
I've also met a lot of the program coordinators, and they were all super friendly and approachable! That also gave me a bit more confidence to contact them.
Anyone apply to UNC's Maternal and Child Health PhD program? I thought they did interviews, but haven't heard anything from them. I'll probably reach out to the program coordinator this afternoon.
@T7879, which track of international health did you apply for? I applied for IH GDEC. I saw that some people on the SBI track heard about interviews on the results page, but I heard from a current student that international health tracks do things very differently from one another.
