I had a phone interview with my POI a couple weeks ago and it sounded like I was her last invite (she already had four others), but their second interview date isn't until the 20th so some may still be extending invites!

Any updates on USC admissions?

Thanks for the reply! I was also thinking I should wait at least another week (which would make it 3 weeks), it's just so hard not knowing haha.

At what point after interviews is it appropriate to contact the program regarding admissions decisions? And who would be the best person to contact (POI, DCT, other administrator)?

Yes I'd like to know as well if you don't mind. There hasn't been anything posted on the results page, and I had heard that it may take a few weeks for offers to go out since they're also in the process of hiring a new faculty member.

Just to clarify for everyone posting about USC invites - you're referring to interview invitations, not admissions offers, correct?

On the results page someone said that they called the office and they confirmed that all interview notifications had been sent out as of January 17th and there was a low chance that a second wave would go out

I second this! All of my interviews were pretty much just conversations about research interests and questions I had about the program, and it actually ended up being a really enjoyable experience in the end!

This is probably a long shot, but does anyone know if USC has extended admissions offers yet? The interview day was January 13th (10 days ago), so it seems like offers should be coming soon if they haven't already...

Does anyone know how long it typically takes for programs to come back with a decision after interviews? And will they only notify the people to whom they're offering admission, or will they tell everyone at the same time if they've been accepted/waitlisted/rejected?
