Does anyone know if Virginia Tech has sent interview requests for poetry applicants yet? I've only seen interviews for fiction on Draft and the results page.
i have the same question... it seems late to not have notified anyone in poetry yet, but it could be possible that they didn't feel the need to interview any poets?

It's hard to stack up all "presumed" rejections... like please send me an email, in my dreams you just forgot to call and tell me i've been accepted. Arizona was my first real rejection, and for that I'm pretty grateful actually
If this was a bar, shots would be on me.

also, those syracuse rumors from last week were legit--poets notified.
Yeah I definitely think poetry notifications have gone out, which is disheartening considering I applied for poetry... but we haven't seen any waitlists notified, right? That could be a good sign? I'd be so down to at least be waitlisted.

Freaking out, found this website, joining in! I don't know anyone else going through grad apps at all, much less MFA, so it's relieving/nerve-wracking to see my same stress mirrored here!
I applied for poetry to: Iowa, Michigan, Cornell, Wisconsin, Brown, WUSTL, Syracuse, Oregon, VTech, NYU, Alabama, VCU, Hollins, Arizona, Ole Miss, George Mason, Boston, and New Hampshire.
First time applicant, applied to so many because I am truly desperate to get in! Trying to beat the odds...
do you guys think I got a good mix in?

no one else (here or on draft) has mentioned this program, does anyone have any opinions?
