I am originally applying for MPH program. and got accepted by UCLA. And I requested to transfer to MS. (As an International Student, MPH may be troublesome.) UCI haven't given me any responses yet. They said they were stil processing. But I have accepted UCLA's offer. No worry. I think your experiences are more than qualified to attend this program. I don't know exactly your GPA and GRE, can't give an entire evaluation. Cal State are not bad. MPH programs are pretty accessible! Be confident. Prepare your GRE and SOP!

Just accepted. Hope I could get a housing in the university. I really really really need a dorm. As an international student, I can't get a license to buy a car to commute everyday.

Hi. I'm from China and was just admitted into the UCLA MPH program. The checklist says I must take ESLPE test. Is there anyone familiar with this test? The website says "A visitor scoring below the minimum requirement will not be permitted to register until an intensive course in English has been passed." and "Admission is canceled for those who do not pass the ESLPE." However, the ESL website says "If you do not receive an “exempt” on the ESLPE, you will need to take up to two ESL graduate writing courses (ESL 200, 201) as indicated in your ESLPE exam results. These courses must be completed during the first year and may not be taken concurrently. " It really scares me and makes me confused.
