Yes! Either way, congrats and best of luck with your choices
I visited IHEID last summer and after being there for a week, it was definitely rough money-wise
Agreed. I'm from Tokyo albeit attend a US uni but I was honestly very surprised because the stories were always how they only accept Americans or French-speakers.
@Vivere 800 words is definitely not enough, totally agree with you.
Congrats on all your acceptances! I received my rejection from LSE early this month, bummed but IHEID is my top choice and so I'm more nervous about this application. I'm curious, is anyone willing to share their profile? I'm afraid my undergraduate GPA is a mere 3.3 as I changed majors after two awful years, before I discovered my love for IR. I'm also an international student studying in Boston.
So glad someone made a thread! I've also applied to the MIA, just awaiting March
I've been very nervous about my application because I honestly didn't mention mention much about where I'm hoping to take my degree if accepted....but I did mention my interest in migration studies and policy, and how I hope to work towards "modernizing the system."
With people saying how important the personal statement is, I fear that mine might have been insufficient in explaining my future goals!
