I thought I was out for the count, but I just got a surprise acceptance letter to Oxford..... AH!
Now, we await funding decisions. Oxford would be a dream come true, especially since it is very strong in my field of interest and has a perfect PI. How sad it would be to turn Oxford down. 
Are there interviews for funding? Is there any way to know if I still stand a shot at funding?

Well, Austin FINALLY graced me with their decision. They're out.

I have accepted Stanford's offer. Game over. Peace!!!

I really thought I would be a good fit there, and I've created an original research approach, which is difficult to do in early Christian studies.  
Someday. Someday I'll publish groundbreaking research, and they'll be like, "Wow, I wish she was a student at OUR school. Oh wait, she applied and we rejected her. This is almost the same thing as when J.K. Rowling couldn't get Harry Potter published, and now everyone loves her and she's a zillionaire... JUST LIKE ANDREA IS NOW WITH HER GROUNDBREAKING RESEARCH." So there.

^ Yeah I guess so, although it would be ideal to get an acceptance before the avalanche of rejections.  

I applied, haven't heard anything either.
