Currently working as a program coordinator at a non-profit literacy center. 2 years of volunteer service at an elementary school. Large background in preschool and teaching in the private sector.  25 observation hours.  1 year study-abroad. Bilingual in Italian; proficient in Swahili; basic Spanish  Undergrad research conducted on early-childhood literacy. Peace Corps for 6 months--left early due to illness (explained in personal statement). Results:

@madisonrd I am unable to attend the open house, but I did inquire about funding. They said that the Dean of Students was making decisions about how many scholarships/fellowships would be offered this year, and that information would be available sometime in March. Hopefully we hear something soon!
