  1. Also got into U of T epi! Congrats everyone! Ack I am so torn about whether to go or do an MSc in epi instead.
  2. Congrats! Has anyone heard from the epidemiology stream?
  3. Thanks for taking the time to answer! I am in a very similar boat to you so that is helpful. I've always had U of T as my first choice because of the practicums they offer as well as the focus on epi, but the advice I've been getting from profs and my coworkers (I work at PHAC) is to do an MSc. I also got a lot of funding at Western so it's going to be a super tough decision (if I do get in to U of T). One other question - do students ever do their practicums in other cities? Or are they all in Toronto?
  4. Do you mind if I ask why you chose U of T? As opposed to a thesis-based Masters in Epidemiology? Are you happy with your choice/do you like the program?
  5. Yes, I was accepted a while back. The deadline they gave me to accept/reject the offer was March 31 (I accepted). Hope that helps!
  6. Thanks for sharing...I guess I will just wait and hope my uozone is updated on Monday.
  7. Really? Mine still says "Under Evaluation"
  8. It wasn't me who posted on the results page but I also got an interview offer yesterday for the western MSc in Epidemiology. I wasn't aware that we had to interview for a spot so I am super nervous. Good luck to you - it was a potential supervisor who contacted me, not the administration, so maybe the supervisor you want is just taking more time to send out his or her emails.
  9. I did! Based on the admission results posted to gradcafe in previous years it'll probably be end of March.
