Has anyone heard anything from/about Carnegie Mellon this year?

@SeaLou Unfortunately they did not.... I was so flustered during the interview that at the end I just made sure to get in the few questions I had prepared and then completely did not think to ask them when I would hear back. I certainly hope @felixo's comment is only true of the directors. I genuinely don't mind being rejected anymore so much as I mind not being told one way or another (for instance, I know Columbia invited their interviewees out several weeks ago and they still haven't given me a rejection slip).

Has anyone heard anything about Northwestern? I had a Skype interview on March 10 but haven't heard anything since. I know there were about 26 others (according to the Doodle scheduler we signed up with) who had interviews that weekend. At what point is it OK for me to call them?

Also woke up to a rejection email from UCSD the other morning. Probably the coldest form email I've ever received. At any rate, still waiting on Columbia (I know they've already sent out their interview notifications so I'm just waiting for the rejection confirmation), Northwestern (had a Skype interview the other day that I feel uneasy about), and Carnegie Mellon.

Just got home from opening night of my play and.... also got the rejection email from Yale. @SeaLou it sounds like your form letter might have been more encouraging than the one I got! Oh well. Certainly a weird way to end my night. The play I just opened was the script I had submitted for my application. Oh well. Glad I know now. Best of luck to everyone!

What's what I'm assuming, but that's so frustrating! Like, if you already know your finalists, why not just put out a rejection notice to the rest of us? I guess I'll just remain full of anxiety until tomorrow when I know it's too late... Thank you for the response!

Does anyone have previous experience with Yale? I know a bunch of people got the rejection notice on the portal yesterday, and Yale said they would be notifying the finalists today. However, I haven't heard anything (on the portal or otherwise). It's 4pm EST now... should I be worried that it's this late without hearing anything or...? I'm not necessarily expecting to have a chance in hell at Yale, but I'm surprised that I haven't gotten the rejection notification by now. Does anyone know if (in the past) people have gotten their rejection notifications after the finalists are contacted?

@nerve Glad I'm not the only one noticing a much quieter February than past years! Still haven't heard anything from any of the places I applied. I know Yale said they would announce the finalists tomorrow...

@greenchile Radio silence from everywhere for me, too (Yale, UCSD, Northwestern, Columbia). At this point I just obsessively check this forum and my submission pages.... which probably isn't good for the anxiety... Yale did mention in their recent financial aid email that they'd contact everyone by next Friday. I haven't heard anything on here about Yale this year but I'm beginning to assume that if I don't hear until that Friday deadline, it means no interview.
