Hi! I think you should contact the school you will be holding the award at. One of the options is Jan, it's 01/01/2018, which I understand makes it more confusing.

If you can find someone relevant to contact at the tri-agency, then you could reach out to them as well. But the school will ultimately be in charge of awarding the money, so they are probably good to speak to asap about this.

    Best of luck!

Ok that makes sense thank you so much!!! I appreciate it :)

Congrats! The dates are for when you would start the award. There are some charts that indicate when you can start the award. Most of our programs work on a September-next September basis, so I selected 01/09/2017. If that is how your program operates, and you intended to get the award for a year starting this upcoming September, then select that option (the middle one).

    I hope this makes sense!

Hi! @eternallyephemeral Thank so much for the reply! That makes sense now, I totally read 01 as Jan....So I think I selected the following year as in (2018) is there a way this can be changed or it's pretty much set in stone now?

  3. ^ I agree with the post above. Don't be afraid to ask any questions that you have about the program, school or supervisor. Current students will be one of the best sources of information about how well you will fit in there. In my experience when talking with students they are usually more than happy to answer questions you may have.

A couple questions I have asked was what has your experience been like working with 'x' supervisor. What sort of opportunities/projects have you gotten the chance to work on. What is it like attending 'x' university, you can also ask about classes you would potentially take and what the typical schedule is like. Even asking about living situations is also good to get a sense of where to live (if you are out of area of course). Showing interest in what the current students are studying also doesn't hurt. I think the more specific your questions are the better and I'm sure more questions may arise from conversation.

Good luck, and congrats on the acceptance!
