Anyone know of any open google/excel docs with information about MFA Studio programs in general? Funding? Cost of Living? Tuition Waiver? Faculty? Deadlines? Programs available? Amount of GA/TAs, Etc... I'm willing to start one as I gathered a great deal of information this fall applying for schools. I think it could be a great benefit to share this information in an easily accessible manner to those of us applying for a second round next year. There are a number of schools I regret not applying to purely because I did not have the time to thoroughly research each and every program before having to dive deep into applications. I understand this information changes slightly from year to year, but I still think this would be incredibly helpful if there is one out there! My emphasis will be in ceramics.

I STRONGLY recommend reading Sharon Louden's new book Artist as Cultural Producer!!!!!! Sharon herself went to SAIC, then to Yale and graduated with more than a 100K in student debt in 91, which would be equivalent of more than 200K today. She managed to pay it off in 10 years. Artist as Cultural Producer is beautifully written and includes stories by 40 artists sharing their way of figuring out this madness of making a sustainable living as an artist.
Judging from what @tugbamina_871, @KatieB1987, @dmirko and others are saying you would enjoy reading the book or seeing her on tour with the book. There really isn't a right or wrong, black or white way to be an artist much less making a living as an artist. It is icky and messy and nuanced. #staywoke

Moore: Accepted March 2nd, waiting on funding notice.
PAFA: Accepted March 10th, received Merit funding!
UPenn: Rejected March 3rd

Atleast you went for it be proud of yourself in that regard! I've gotten one rejection letter so far and I'm fearing more to come. Just because most of these posts are acceptance celebrations doesn't mean that it's all roses.

I emailed Tyler a few weeks ago and said they will have a decision by early March. I guessed that changed. 

I applied to Delaware. Haven't heard anything since I submitted 

so I've known I was rejected from Hunter for a week or two now, since I knew all interview invites had gone out. 
but I got my first official notice of rejection yesterday...but not from someone in the art/painting dept....it was someone from their masters of teaching program, which I thought was really odd. not only that, but they were encouraging me/offering that I could transfer my application, free of charge, to be considered for that program instead- what?!
then I get a rejection again today,  this time from the graduate art department- with a very blunt subject line " Application declined for Hunter MFA 2017-2018 admissions " folllowed by an email with several typos. 
kind of disappointing, after all the effort I put into my app, you'd think they'd do a better job at communicating. .. 
(sorry for the non-story, just figured this forum was a better place for me to vent than directly to the admissions peeps.. lol)
