Did anyone accepted to SFU get offered any sort of entrance scholarship when they got accepted? Thanks!

For people who got into UofT health promotion, when is the deadline to accept?
2 weeks from when we receive the official email from grad studies (which I haven't gotten yet- also worth noting I was accepted the second round I think, not first)

U of T people who were accepted earlier: were you required to put a deposit down when accepting your offer? If so, how much was it? (Trying to figure out how much time I have to choose between it and SFU!!)

I received my acceptance for u of t health promo today (or last night I guess, I'm in Asia right now so time is confusing). It was super surprising since I got rejected at ubc I really didn't expect it. Now choosing between u of t and global health at SFU.
SFU is closer to home and much less expensive. I like that u of t has two practicums, and I feel like I could possibly make better connections there (since I ideally want to work for some sort of international health NGO), and obviously more prestigious, but it's also a lot more expensive (tuition-wise and living in TO). I would love any insight anyone has!

Do you know which stream specifically? This is sorta discouraging news...
I just re-read the comments and one person got into health promotion/ social and behavioural, and the other didn't specify which. A bit of a bummer for me since I applied to health promo but trying to stay positive until I know for sure either way!

U of T is driving me crazy. Hurry up, please lol!
Anyone hear back from them yet?I'm part of a Facebook group for SFU masters students and I saw two people on there have been accepted to U of T and are trying to decide between the two. (But I haven't heard anything myself, so I'm feeling less optimistic now hehe)

Hello @elop, I have also applied to SFU but no email yet. So I was wondering if they sent you a rejection email or you knew when you checked your online application?
On a different note, @elop and @yegMPH could you guys please tell me when you applied to SFU? Someone said in this thread that SFU does it on a rolling basis (can anyone clear that up for me, please?) so I was trying to understand when they might review my application as I uploaded my last document on 30 January.
Hey sorry late reply! I was the one who mentioned rolling admissions for SFU I believe. By that I meant that when I got an offer they wanted me to get back to them within 2 weeks (a much shorter time frame than queens who gave me a month)! So I think they send out acceptances and then 2 weeks later they'll be able to send out more if people decline. Hope that makes sense

Anyone hear back from SFU Global Health yet?
Hey, yeah I got accepted there a week or so ago and I applied to global health (I can't see global health written anywhere in the offer letter but I think they only consider you for the one your applied for?). I heard they do acceptances on a rolling basis so they accept people in waves. (Rejected from UBC though, you win some you lose some I guess!) Also got in to Queens but mostly waiting to hear from U of T (though I'm trying to keep myself realistic about getting in there!)

I got accepted to health promo like 3 weeks ago but still haven't received the official letter (after that I think we'll have 2 weeks to accept or decline). Maybe they're waiting to update you guys until they have some people decline their spots? It seems like u of t does everything very slowly...
