Those who must choose between several fellowship offers—follow the money or the Fulbright name & network? I got in touch with a former Fulbrighter from my host country to find out more about stipend amounts. I'd be getting an extra $400 dollars per month if I declined the FB in favor of an institutional grant (designed for graduating seniors).
Hi all — just got the green light from FB. There was nothing in the email about grant amounts or accepting the award. Do I need to submit the required documents first? That can't be right... Will all be revealed with additional emails in a few hours? Yours, AM
EDIT: To put it more simply, Do I have to accept the award before I know its terms? I mostly want to know how long I have to make a decision. Thanks, as always, for your help!
Today I was awarded a substantial grant from my home institution to conduct the same research project, and I must accept/decline by April 3. No word back from the Fulbright Commission. How to proceed?
EDIT: I couldn't combine the two sources of funding.
