  1. Congrats @jnp809! I got the call that I got in off the waitlist at NYU last week, but after double checking and visiting the school I'm going to decline. So there should be some more movement there soon for those still waiting!
  2. Does anyone happen to know of any open outside scholarships I could apply for? Trying to reduce some impending debt.
  3. @writr thank you! I believe it is. And I'm not sure about Fordham, but I know they make acceptances on a rolling basis.
  4. Thank you @jnp809! & congrats on Ohio! :)
  5. After visiting Rutgers, I decided it's perfect for me! I'm stoked! They only take two students so they are really invested in you and you are given a production a year, compared to NYU where I wouldn't have any and would be one of many students.
  6. Thank you @jnp809! They offer half funding. Tuition is $26,000 a year so I would be paying $13,000 a year for 2.5 year plus the fees of commuting to NJ from Brooklyn.
  7. Hi there! So far I've been a hardcore lurker of this thread, but now that I've finally got some news I'd love some advice. I've just been accepted to Rutgers. The program sounds amazing, but I'm also waitlisted at NYU and while I think I'd probably enjoy the program itself at Rutgers much more is that more valuable than the name of NYU and the possible connections associated with it? I know that I'm only waitlisted there though so if I do happen to get in I will probably not receive any funding. Also congratulations to everyone for going through this crazy process and surviving!
