She didn't mention that and I'm not sure but I have a feeling that might be the case. But I'm hoping that's not true. At this point I pretty much lost hope just because we are less than a week before the 31st and I doubt they might be still letting people know that they got accepted. But then again I'm not sure.

Hello, haven't heard anything back so I decided to email them and Kathleen Ficklin responded back and said that they are still sending notifications until May 31st and that they are contacting students though their personal email and phone number. Just wanted to share this information incase anyone is in the same boat as me.

thanks @AutumnSweater My friend just texted me that he got in, he checked his mysjsu and he got accepted to the part time msw program. I hope we all hear something back soon.

No, he didn't tell me if they told him when it would be the last day.

I spoke to my friend that also applied to the part time MSW program at SJSU and he said that he called and they told him that due to the extension to the application process back at the beginning of the year has made it hard for them to properly let everyone know in time since they did push back the deadline a month; to February. He also said that he had heard that they were only letting 75 people into the part time program I believe, but to not fully quote him on that. So far no news on my end, and this waiting game is giving me anxiety.

I agree that this wait game is crazy, my supervisor applied to the MPA program at SJSU and he turned in his stuff last minute, on the last day everything was due back in march and they already sent him an acceptance letter last week. I only applied to SJSU and this waiting game Is giving me anxiety, I check my sjsu every morning and the status doesn't change. :'( my plan B is the same as Kdubb and apply to East Bay on their next open enrollment. which sucks because east bay isn't where I saw myself at.

I submitted my application on January 18th. Hopefully they let us know soon, even if its a rejection letter.

Congrats to all of y'all that have gotten accepted! That's so exciting!!!! Can it be that they are letting the 2 year programs know first then the part time? I would hope so, because another week has passed and nothing

Good morning almost afternoon I am so happy I came across this page as I am very very anxious about hearing bad from SJSU as well. I didn't think it was going to take this long and I too just applied to SJSU so I am hoping that I get accepted I had a "To Do" item that I completed 2 weeks ago and I was hoping that after that they would send something...but nothing so far. I read somewhere else that people started getting a response mid April. Sooo I'm hoping we will know soon...so far I have no plan B.
