Is Weill Cornell Neuro done sending invites?
-
Congratulations! Hoping they send more since they seem to be a bit behind ?
-
Wait so theyre sending out some today, and continuing through feb?? also thank you!
-
If you do please tell us what they say ?
-
Theyre either sending this afternoon or perhaps got behind...there arent any decisions in the results section yet ? alternately, they took only a few people ?
-
I see Weill Cornell BCMB sent out decisions today, has anyone heard anything about Neuro decisions?
-
A grad student at Yale told me it will likely be Jan 3rd for INP!
-
Unsure, someone posted in the results section that they emailed and were told all interview invites had been sent out?
-
Im almost positive from the way the admin phrased it to me on the phone. He said the committee had finished meeting and reviewing the applications, and selected applicants for the interview weekend + general stuff about there being a lot of great applicants this round. Theymight be similar to other schools in that they dont send rejections until they are sure eveyone can attend, as to select other great applicants in their place if they turn it down?
-
That would be so helpful right! But yeah, some programs gave our interview invites right after the deadline, others I know wont be back until late Jan ?
-
Princeton and Brown have finished sending invites sadly!
-
Mayo Clinic neuro already sent out decisions!
-
Got some email updates- USUHS is sending invites late Jan/early feb, Dartmouth PEMM committee will meet Jan 10th to review apps and send our notifications on the 11th~and the week after
-
Someone else in the results section contacted them! All interview invites have been sent out sadly.
-
Does anyone have any info on interview decisions for Yale INP, Weill Cornell Neuroscience, or Dartmouth PEMM neuro?
-
Neuroscience PhD programs typically operate by offering interviews, then making admissions decisions after. If you dont get an interview, its almost certain that you were rejected. Mass emails are usually done for rejections. the acceptance without interview or with only a skype interview are usually reserved for chemistry, psychology, etc.
-
Can someone explain to me the cons of asking programs if all decisions have been sent out, when you see some already have? Ive heard its best to just wait until they send rejections or at least a couple months after submission, but in this crazy state of anxiety Im wondering what is the downside to asking? Will it look badly, can they switch your decision, is it just improper, etc. Thoughts?

Im pretty sure I didnt get an interview for Princeton at this point, but when did they send out interview emails?
-
I see someone posted about a Princeton Neuroscience interview in results already ? Hopefully they are spreading it out across a few days like last year
-
Just got a call from Brown Neuro! First one, honestly so relieved, its one of my top choices!
-
Do you happen to know if the Brown-NIH Neuro decisions came out separately from the Brown Neuro interviews?
-
To the person who posted in results with the Mayo Clinic Neuro interview, how were you notified? The post says "other" instead of email or phone ?
-
Im stuck somewhere between feeling super nervous/anxious that I haven't heard from any programs as all these decisions roll out, and somewhat comforted by the fact it doesn't seem like anyone else has heard from the programs I applied to ?
-
Which track at Mayo were you invited for?
-
Yale neuro historically doesnt send invites until Jan 3rd
