Yes, it has to be a troll. I am curious to know where you can check the dates that schools have announced acceptances in recent years. This would allow me to get a better sense of the timeline that I'm working with. Thanks.

The Appleby article includes such insightful tips as "don't mention you acted in pornographic movies..." I was really on the fence about that, so I'm glad it cleared things up.
