Hi Everyone, This is my first time posting so please redirect me if I've posted in the wrong spot. I'm applying to PhD programs in CompLit and English in the US. I'm wondering how important the GRE scores tend to be. I recently took the test and am considering whether it is necessary (or time effective) to retake it. Could anyone shed some light about scores and ranges? I'm sure it varies by school, but I have my eye on Chicago, Columbia, U Penn and Cornell to name a few. Thanks so much!
