I called yesterday and was told that the admission office is working on the decision this week and we should expect to hear from them "later this week", at the worst no later than "early next week". 

How portable is a Harris MPP to cities like DC?

I went to an event where the dean said she is looking to substantially grow class size. The 2018 class will be in a new, much larger space.

Wanted to give some hope to you all - I applied a few years ago to these programs and got into all with funding after 1 year of work experience and a combined 319 GRE score. I would think you definitely are hitting the minimum requirements!

I was acceped! I got an email from Fletcher admission office today!

I could definitely see how the Trump effect might be discouraging folks from applying. I'm personally planning to work in municipal government/advocacy, which is why I still decided to apply despite last year's election. But the prospect of being taxed on my scholarship/fellowships might end up having a big impact on whether or not I can actually go to school. 
The forum has definitely seemed quiet. I wonder if the applicant pool this year might end up being smaller but more competitive. It's possible that fewer people want to enter a risky market where they will have to fight hard to get a job, then fight even harder to do good work. But I also think it's possible that those who are energized to act by the dismal political climate have a deep commitment to public service that would be reflected in their applications. Just a thought!
Either way, I'm hoping for fewer applicants and more $$$ to go around!

Crossing my fingers for all of us here on GradCafe! The anticipation is killing me. It is going to be a long two or so weeks.

Out of curiosity, has anyone heard a confirmed date for decisions? I guess I assumed it would be 12/15 based on what limited info I can find about last year.
