  1. Oh, I think you are completely right. The email states, "the student is incomplete at the SEVIS stage." The additional expense is about $22,000. I was short on about $2,500. Now, I am relieved by your answer. I will double check though. Thanks!
  2. Hello everyone, I received an email from my department. It states, "After factoring in the department’s offer, you are $x,xxx short on funding." The clerk told me I would need to upload a proof of funding document. What does it mean? The DGS told me I would have about $20,000 as a stipend.
  3. May I know when you received your acceptance email?
  4. I am an international student. Though my verbal and quant scores are above 90th percentile, respectively, my analytical writing score is just 4.0. I have never reached to even 4.5. And, I am worried about my poor AW score.
  5. Thanks for the suggestions. Since I cannot meet him, I think it is impossible to persuade him. (I reside in a different country) I have better gre scores now (both sections are above 90th percentiles). And I also changed my sop and writing sample.
  6. Oh I forgot saying that I do not have the letter. I should ask the department to resue the old letter which was uploaded last year.
  7. Hi all, I got rejected from a school last year. I am going to reapply to the school in this admission cycle, but I just got a notice that one of my letter writers would not be able to write any letters this year. In this case, can I use his letter? He allowed me to use his old letter. Should I ask the department to see if I can reuse his letter? Is this request usually accepted?
