  1. Congrats on the interview! I don't think it's necessary to email back, just fill out the form so they can schedule you.
  2. Yeah, I'm currently working at UChicago but for medical faculty who are unaware of the admissions timeline. Since it seems like some BSD committees have already met, wasn't sure if they had all sent out interview invites already. Please keep us updated, I really appreciate it!
  3. Thanks! Wasn't sure if any notices had gone out as the program is relatively small and pretty separate from the rest of the BSD.
  4. Anyone know if UChicago biomedical sciences (specifically Cancer Biology) is still sending out invites? They sent out invites in Dec in previous years but haven't heard anything about it this year yet...
  5. I got an email from a faculty member so they may be sending them out over the weekend.
  6. Was wondering about this too. In previous years, they sent out the invites on the Friday of Sat of the first full week of Jan.
  7. Also interested in MIT biology. Hopefully we both get good news to start off the year
  8. Merry Christmas to you too! Hopefully we both start off the new year with some good news haha.
  9. Yeah haha. I'm waiting for one more school which seems to let people know right after Christmas based on historical results.
  10. MIT biology won't release results until January.
  11. Just heard from Boston College Biology via email for interview 2/1.
  12. Thanks biomednyc, that's good to hear. Hopefully it isn't as competitive this year, although I think it will be the case.
  13. Here is the data for Northwestern DGP (http://www.tgs.northwestern.edu/documents/program-statistics/L20PH_adm_enr.pdf). Seems like they extend acceptances to most interviewees, although it's no guarantee.
  14. I'm not sure about that, but it would seem to be the case. Hope you get an interview mate.
  15. Here are the stats for IBiS if anyone is interested (http://www.tgs.northwestern.edu/documents/program-statistics/B15PH_adm_enr.pdf)
  16. Did you apply DGP or IBiS? For DGP it looks like they invite a total of 75-90 people and accept ~70 per year with a goal of ~30 matriculants (http://www.tgs.northwestern.edu/documents/program-statistics/L20PH_adm_enr.pdf) meaning that probably ~60-70% of interviews get acceptances (I think).
  17. Just got the email to schedule Yale MCGD interview for 2/15-2/18. Got a call from a faculty member last week though. Anyone else visiting for this session?
  18. Yeah, my friend who got into DGP last year got his invite in January, so I was pretty surprised to hear back so soon.
  19. It's still early! They will probably be sending them out throughout the week. A friend of mine who applied last year heard back later than now, so no worries yet.
  20. Has anyone heard back from UChicago Cancer Bio?
  21. Anyone know the post-interview stats for Yale BBS, Princeton MolBio, or Northwestern DGP?
  22. Heard back from Princeton Molecular Biology (Phone 12/4), Yale BBS (Phone 12/11), and Northwestern DGP (Email 12/15).
