I graduated Texas A&M in 2016 with a Special Education Degree with a focus in Alternative Behavior. I had a 3.6 overall GPA and 3.85 major GPA. I worked at Boys and Girls club in college and taught in Behavior and Headstart classrooms. I'm currently in my second year of Teach for America. I run the 5th grade after school girls club and volunteer at a non profit foster home for children in crisis on Sunday afternoons! I applied for the clinical program for school-based and school linked services

I got accepted yesterday! I got an email around 4:30 (I live in Houston). I applied in November! Best of luck to everyone!!

I just got off the phone with the director of admissions and he said priority deadline applications should hear by the end of this week or next week....another later date, but hopefully we will hear sooner than that!

SAME. Maybe they are releasing acceptances by which program you applied to? It seems as if only mental health applicants have been accepted so far.

The same thing happened to me! I just called as well, and they said my application is still under review...I applied in November. I was originally told I would hear by the first of February, but the lady just told me I would hear by March 1st.

I reached out to NYU admissions and they extended my decision to March 1st! Keeping my fingers crossed we hear tomorrow from Columbia, the anticipating is killllinnnggg me

Have you heard back from the director of admissions from Columbia?

I am waiting on Columbia as well! I saw in one of the forums from last year that people starting hearing as early as January 20th, but I spoke to admissions last week and they said decisions will be out middle of February. I have been accepted to NYU also but Columbia is my top choice so the wait is killing me.
