I have been denied admission. good luck to you all!

They just emailed me saying I will hear a decision mid april. I am so annoyed.

Hello friends, Just dropping in to say that I am obsessively keeping up with this forum as I still wait to hear back (advanced SEA/School concentration...applied 12/15). Congratulations to the wave of accepters yesterday! Fingers crossed for today

did you get an email saying that? I applied advanced standing 12/15 and they emailed me 1/26 saying my application was entering the admissions process. is that what you're talking about? or whatever you received told you "final review"?

That's okay! Everything happens for a reason. Things are 100% going to workout for you, maybe just not how you first envisioned. I will be taking my own advice If i get the same feedback. And its not a rejection!

I applied 12/15. Columbia must have a pretty intricate system of how they are getting back to students. They probably clump each application based on concentration, method, and length of program. If you really think about it, that is a lot of combinations to sort through and decide candidacy based on all applicant's qualifications in comparison to each others per group combo...does that make any sense? haha but yeah, thats what I am thinking. I am also thinking I'm the last one who hasn't heard back still that applied in December. I applied advanced standing, SEA, school-linked school-based services.
