On a related topic, how likely are you all to attend visit days in general? I got an invite to Madison's admitted visit day, I'm trying to figure out what to do. It would be expensive to travel since I'm in California finishing up my bachelors, I do love the school, but I am still waiting to hear back from my dream program. I know it's not literally mandatory, but how odd is it to not attend? I want to remain respectful to the program and professors there.
When did you hear about the visit? Haven't heard anything myself. Are they not funding the trip? I thought that was the norm

@crushinator I too would like to hear more..I found it offputting that the graduate school sent this email out without even writing 'congratulations' anywhere in the email, and that the department still hasn't contacted people yet (or at least not systematically). This on top of the funding issue doesn't exactly inspire confidence about the program, in my opinion.

I didn't post on the results board but I'm another Berkeley acceptance. I don't think folks should be worried just yet because I received a call at 430 PT on Fri from the chair of the admissions committee, so I imagine more will be rolling in over the next week...which will also hopefully be the case with Stanford...
