Anyone have a PS3? I'd love to play some MW2 ! ?

Claim that you make less by donating part of your salary to an offshore charity, hidden by shelve corporations obviously, that you start. Then use a VPN to access your offshore bank account tied to the charity and buy Monero from a decentralized exchange, and send the monero back to your wallet. Convert to bitcoin, and withdraw in a coinbase account, and route to bank account. All transactions will be hidden. And by donating, you can claim that you make less than 5k a year as far as the university is concerned. This way, you can have your cake, and eat it too !

Sometimes, schools give "conditional" acceptances. "You only get in if you get external funding". Some schools accept candidates without guaranteeing funding for a full four to five years. So a professor may have funding for two years, but if he can't secure funding for the three years afterwards, then the student has no choice but to leave with a masters, or transfer to another group. These would be perfect situations in which the results of the NDSEG matter.

I hope you are a PhD student, and if not, got offers for it. That's the perfect mindset for the PhD !

There's going to be a zoom meeting to all talk. At least for the December gang ! hehehe ?
-
Not sure why you're being downvoted. This is for encouraging people who don't get fellowships. Still ~DecemberGang~

I did get a small chuckle out of the trolls, but have to be honest, it was bad in taste. Some of people's graduate decisions do rest on the outcome of winning the fellowship. Never a good idea to kick someone when they're down or stressed. No need to bring the trolling cesspool here.

Nah, I submitted mine on the due date. I hope I didn't get ruined by not having a scan of an official transcript. What a dumb f*ckin rule. My impression was that if you get selected, THEN you submit an official transcript.
-
Nah, probably Coronavirus ?
-
I remember that I didn't do this. I discovered the slash character caused issues with form submission.

Not sure what was done in the past, but someone did call sysplus, and they mentioned that it's highly likely for decisions to be confirmed by Friday. And emails to go out early next week.
-
Nah, If the news comes out, it will come out Monday through Wednesday. I doubt they will publish the list of those who won. And we only find out through emails. Though the decisions would have been made by Friday, we won't know them until we get emails.
-
LOL if the color of the text did really change, Sysplus is toying with us ! ??
-
Or do they? DUN DUN DUNNNNNN. You'll only find out after the commercial break. Seriously though, @Physicsisphysics relayed a similar point.
-
You're essentially part of December gang now !
-
?? I'll take the bait. They are people who view the thread but don't participate. Hence "Lurker" ?
-
Given that fewer people applied to ONR, could this be plausible? Yeah, it kind of sucks waiting. At least you got an update though: I'm stuck before Christmas !
-
I think whoever has an April 6th update won the award.
-
That is considered a february update in this situation I guess haha
-
Yeah, that's what I suspect. To play Devil's advocate, December updates and 2020 updates are divided nearly 50/50. In this case, 47 for Dec and 40 for 2020

Add yourself to the google doc !
-
People in the same BAA have already gotten back updates. Different field, but same BAA ! Welp ?
-
Wow, so I guess we were correct. It seems like those who did get later updates are more likely to win (with the NSF and Ford awards)
