Is it okay to slip in my emails that if he would tell me if I have not communicated something clearly?

it's almost like you have a perfect reading of my situation (maybe even know someone like me? )thanks anyway and I agree i should not have overshared. It has cost me in my relationship. Usually when a professor says they care about mental health,, it is easy to over-share

I am not saying that there is something inherently wrong with it but when we had in person meetings, neither of us was recording. There's been no need to record. But I think something has happened that the advisor feels I am not someone to trust? What could I have done to give that impression?

How did you get that I can't communicate with my department? I have always been talking to my advisor to the point that he knows that I feel isolated and depressed. I shared everything with them. I am not sure how honest I can be

Hi, it's my second year of the PhD in Political Science. The first year was easier and the requirements were less harsh. However, with the second year, there is more pressure and the nature of the degree has become more mathematical with time. Also, sitting down for hours has taken a serious toll for my health. The hard work doesn't intimidate me; it's the nature of the courses in methodology with a strong mathematical content that I don't get at all. Does anyone have experience with this? Who should i talk if I am having serious thoughts about leaving and also finding it hard to cope with the depression I am experiencing lately? How likely is it for international students to find jobs with a masters in political science after leaving?

Those who have been in contact with their POIs from universities they are not sure they will attend, how do you make sure that you continue the conversation but don't confirm your acceptance?
