Sometimes admissions committees won't know where you stand at first, but they might get a better idea when acceptees and wait-listers get shuffled around. I called my school the day after I got my letter to see where I was on the list, and they couldn't tell me where I was. Then I called two months later and they were able to tell me that I was closer to the top of the list.

It depends on how long your program is... If it's only a year or two, go with the former.

Who here has been wait listed? Have any of you been accepted off of it already? Or declined the offer? Still hopeful over here!
