Hi guys, original poster here. It has been one crazy ride, and I have finally decided to join Boston U this fall (hopefully the COVID-19 thing won't push back the date...). Yeah outside it says submitted. But I am talking about the application status when you click into the "View checklist" tab. What does yours show? Mine says incomplete but the checklist doesn't show anything missing.

Btw does anyone’s Stanford application portal still says incomplete? Pretty sure I got everything in.

Just got an offer from Johns Hopkins! Seems like they just sent a large batch out, so I take back my words.

Congrats! I will take that as a good sign that decisions are coming soon. I can't understand why they don't send a big batch on one day though. To create suspense for those who haven't heard anything? No thanks lol.

I know one guy from my class who got in. From what I know he did research since sophomore year, got 1 paper and a couple of scholarships.

Hi you might recognize me from the bioe thread. I’m also applying to some cheme programs so I’ll accompany you lol. Hopefully things will get more festive after people are finished with apps.

Hard to tell without knowing your LORs, SOP and how good your research fit to each program is. You’re applying to a lot of top BME programs, which are a toss-up for anyone, even for top students. I think if you’re a great fit for these programs then it’s a good enough reason to apply. Anyways it’s near the deadlines already so let’s not worry and finish this off with a bang!

I also find emailing professors not helpful so far lol. They basically just tell me to apply and see what happens.
