Suddenly everyone stopped posting!!!??
I'm guessing the rest of the world already received their results, and still no news for the USA.
But I did have a dream last night that I was rejected by DAAD. In my dream, the reviewer took off 100 points because I missed an apostrophe in my motivation statement There were also notes in the margin where the reviewer was making fun of the things I wrote. Brutal.

I just got off the phone with the DAAD office in NY. They told me to wait 2 more weeks and that this is even a conservative estimate. They have 600 applicants for the graduate scholarship for all applicants and have only processed about 50/600 so far. They told me that they are not authorized to discuss an application with a pending decision and just asked me to be patient for at least two more weeks.
Some people in another forum are saying this could take until the beginning of May. There may be some truth to this

Can someone give them a call and ask? I called them so many times I think they recognize my voice now
Just called. They haven't had an update since mid-March (not sure what that means), but results will probably come out by the end of March since they're a couple weeks delayed.

I'm a USA applicant - no news or changes at all in the Portal.

I called DAAD New York today regarding the graduate scholarship for all applicant and they told me to wait until end of March or beginning of April at the latest. They said they are waiting on a quote (I think they meant the budget for this year) from the head office in Bonn.
Good to know, thanks! Now maybe I will stop checking the DAAD Portal every hour.

I have a feeling I am rejected since it still says application submitted and the funding period hasn't changed.
Should the funding period need to change in order to be accepted? I put my funding period as 1.10.2018 to 30.9.2020 and I wouldn't expect them to change it because it's correct already...

I got into the University of Stuttgart (Germany) today for an MS program in engineering.

Did you receive this message right after submitting your application? I got it months later, which I find weird.
Me too; I got it about 2 months after I submitted it.

I applied for a study scholarship for an MS. I'm in the USA. After I submitted my application, I got this message, "A funding decision will be made at the selection meeting in March 2018 on the basis of the submitted documents. We will inform you of the outcome as a rule approximately within three weeks after the meeting in writing." So I'll have to wait for another month or so. I'm so anxious.

USA applicant here for Study Scholarships for Graduates of All Disciplines- my status changed to rejected and I had a letter in the DAAD Portal.
Here's some info from my message: "The Selection Committee had to decide between 379 applications and was able to award 65 scholarships."
That's about a 17% success rate. Of course I'm disappointed, but it was much, much more competitive than I expected, so I'm trying not to beat myself up about it. I didn't go to a prestigious college, and it looks like most of the winners from previous years did.
On the bright side, I've already been accepted to my top choice Master's program in Germany! I'll be going anyway and funding it myself. I've already applied for a dorm with the Studierendenwerk and everything, so I'm trying not to let this get me down.
For other USA applicants who's status is "Selection Made"-- viel glück!!!
