I'm a little confused about the funding side of things. For instance, if my acceptance letter has no mention of any funding, does that mean it's their final offer? Or is there a separate letter for funding? Or can I try to get funding by talking to the department chair? Or is that not advisable?
Apologies for the barrage of questions.
I know this might sound cliched, but try to approach the admission process with a detached attitude. If it works out, then great. If not, then it wasn't meant to be.
I found this attitude helped me during really stressful times. Healthy distractions also work wonders.
Accepted into Pratt, Industrial Design!
I emailed them a few days back regarding their admission schedule, and they replied saying that decisions will start being sent out mid-March onwards. Don't lose hope if you haven't received a reply yet!
Hey everyone, long time lurker checking in.
Here's the list of places I've applied (MFA Design/MID) to and their current status:
SVA: Interviewed
RISD: Nothing yet (most probably a reject judging from the interviews others have already given)
Pratt: Nothing yet
CCA: Nothing yet
The nerves are definitely kicking in at this point. Anyone got word from any of the above places? Checking my inbox every 5 minutes isn't helping.
Edit: Typos galore
