Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but you might be interested in this conference if it comes up again in the future: http://libraryconference.oscars.org/ It's a small conference, but great if you decide you really do want to stick with film or film-adjacent libraries and archives. They also offered a decent scholarship for students, so it's one to watch.
