This guy in my class just called them, and they said that we will know by the end of the day. AHHhhh

This is the longest weekend of my life. 

Hi everyone, I am a member of the 2017-2018 Cohort, I did not get a second budget email and still received the scholarship on April 14.

Looking at past years threads, there doesn't seem to be a correlation between the 2nd budget e-mail and acceptance! Hopefully that stays the same  I haven't gotten anything from Boren Europe 

I honestly wouldn't freak too much (in a good or bad way) over the budget confirmations. My campus adviser actually told me that there has been a change in staffing for the people who review BOREN applications this year (NOT a good thing, because we're basically their guinea pigs!). So although the budget updates were a good sign in the previous years, they are not a good indicator for your award decision this year.
