So after all of this, I will be attending UF's Political Science program! I'm very happy and appreciate everyone on this thread, even if I did ultimately become a defector Congrats to everyone, whether you are attending this round or not, you all worked so hard

It really seems like none of the schools I have applied or gotten accepted to adhere to the April 15 deadline..except my safety/last choice still haven't heard back from my top choice, they said they haven't released any decisions yet which is wild. Hope this week brings closure for everyone.

So I emailed Alabama about my TA application I submitted in early February and was told they are making funding offers up until May. I take that to believe I'm on some kind of funding waitlist but I would love it they said so outright so I can get my life in order. Sorry for the rant!

Sorry to everyone who is in limbo. I emailed the department at UF, and they told me 2 weeks ago they would be reviewing and sending out decisions 'next week'.

Has anyone heard back from the University of Florida's Political Science MA? It's been a hot minute.

Thank you! I'm applying to their Political Campaigning program. I've never understood that broad timeframe. Maybe it's because I'm new to this but April 15 isn't THAT far away...how could you tell someone two weeks before they need to choose lol? Anyway, I've had my app in since December, I'm hoping the fact that neither of us have gotten rejected is good news. Is UF one of your top choices?

I haven't heard anything from UF either, though it's an MA program. My status doesn't even say under review. My non-expert opinion is to email the people related to the department - I've found them the most helpful. Keep in mind I am a newbie, though. @lew334 - best of luck with UF! What program are you applying to?

Kind of off topic, but would any of you say there's a general timeline to hear back about funding? I haven't heard from any school yet. I submitted my TA application for my top choice about a month ago. I don't want me to be bothersome but I am getting nervous because I feel like April 15 is fast approaching. I'm a Master's student, if that changes anything.

I'm lucky enough to have gotten some acceptances so far, but financial aid is going to determine where I go and I have heard diddly squat about that.

I actually just got accepted about a week ago, but I'm an MA student so it might be a little different. It took almost 2 months.

Hello everyone, I'm just starting this to see if anyone else is currently applying/has applied to communication or political communication MA programs. So far here's what I've gotten American Political Communication - Accepted, no word on aid George Washington Political Management - Accepted, no word on aid Alabama Communication Studies - Accepted, no word on aid University of Central Florida Communication - Accepted, no word on aid Wake Forest Communication - Waiting U of Florida Political Campaigning - Waiting Just looking to see if anyone wants to share in the anxiety waiting for funding offers and decisions

Any other Comm MA applicants around? I've been accepted to Alabama, UCF, George Washington, and American. I'm still waiting on Wake Forest and Florida, it's been about 10 weeks. Has anyone heard anything about fellowships/aid from any of these schools. Best of luck to you all, keep your head up!
