Hey everyone ! I'm a French girl who have one dream to make it into HGSE, I would love to have advise from American or international people who made in Harvard or anyone else who can help First of all, I want to make a little resumé of my life in order to let you know who am I. I'm 21, I will turn 22 in September. I'm from a poor family background, my dad died of a cancer when I was 10 but for all I remember of him he was amazing, he always told me that "People can take everything from you except what you have in your brain". I wanted to be a searcher since then in order to save life of cancer patient. I attend Lille University (Northern France University which is only 700 in shanghai ranking) after graduating from High School in 2014. During my year of university I had to work as a Youth Leader 20 hours per week in order to help my mom financially. I loved so much working with child that deep in my heart I knew I was made for a career in education, however I kept going to Biochemistry school and have been graduated in may 2017. I lost my mom during the end of my bachelor in March, made me in a lot of troubles, but I went trough all of this until and graduated but my GPA was very low only 2.7 I've been ejected from my house because my mom was only renting, I start doing drug and move to Berlin in order to make easy money. I stayed 3 month, come back in September and didn't know what do of my life, so I kept doing drug and I've been taken by emergency in psychiatric hospital for a psychotic episode in October 2017 It's been quite a shock that made me realized that I should not give up on life, I left hospital in the end of November 2017 and started an online business of dropshipping while I was living to my friends house. It kind of work, I make around 2300e/2700 USD per month without working. I also realized that I want to do BIG in life and work in education. I could have continue my scolarity by a master degree in education in France and ends up being Civil Servant for national education but I want more adventures and I want my life to contribute to make a difference in the world. I also know that America is probably the only country when it's possible to dream and make it with lot a work and patience (while France is more about elitism) My bachelor degree wasn't good enough or relate to education enough so I postulated to the University of Montreal (100 in shanghai ranking). I've been accepted for a bachelor degree in primary education, I will do at the same time a Graduate Certificate TESL (during first year at the time) in the University of McGill (64 in shanghai ranking) My goal life is to create an international education company for French speaking teacher to be able to teach all over the world or English speaker to French speaking country during summer or school year, (and why not extend to internship) and I would also want to make a teaching foundation for orphans kids, which would be like a boarding school.in every city of France, and if I also can a school for high potential kids in New York city ! I know that it would take time and hustle and my only chance to make it it's to get into Harvard International Education Policy So I would like to know what could I do for making rock solid file during this 4 year to make it !! I will teach in Thailand in Summer 2019, but still wondering what other things could I do for making a drastic difference, and how to get ready to GRE test if you got advices. I want to plan this 4 year in advanced (as much as I can we never really know with life) to be the MVP of applicant Sorry for this long message, and thank you if you are reading this right now, much love !
