  1. Hi All! Congratulations to those starting at WSU in Fall 2021! I'll be pursuing my PhD in Educational Psychology. I will be moving to Pullman in August from Arizona and with COVID, I'm expecting it to be difficult to meet new people so I'm hoping to meet some new people here! Reply if you're in the same boat and want to connect!
  2. I'm finishing up my Master's degree, going on to a PhD next fall, and I've still used a backpack. I tried the messenger bag for a while but I just have too much stuff for it to all work. I take my lunch to school everyday and always have a ton of stuff. Really I switch to a nice messenger bag for conferences or professional meetings but overall, backpack is my go to.
  3. Hi! I'm applying to PhD programs in both Cognitive Psychology and Educational Psychology. Most schools are not requiring GRE scores but some schools say it is encouraged. I have taken the GRE (multiple times) and don't have the best scores. Should I still send them to the schools that are only suggesting you submit them?
  4. I'm planning on reapplying to Psychology PhD programs and I'm debating whether to retake the GRE. I've already taken it twice and some people have told me to retake it but I feel like I might not do any better than what I've scored. I scored in the 43 percentile for Verbal Reasoning, the 62 percentile for Quantitative, and the 60 percentile for Analytical Writing. Any recommendations as to what I should do?
