I declined my interview for NYU as I received an offer for Slade. I'm still waiting to hear back from the RCA and then I'll make my decision. I will decline my SAIC offer later today too, so hopefully that's good news to anyone who has been waitlisted for Painting.

Just heard back from Slade and got accepted!

Oh, that's not good... I interviewed on February 19th for painting. I've e-mailed them asking for an update but heard nothing back. I guess I should assume a rejection then? ?

Never heard back from RISD and Columbia. I was told by RCA that I'll hear back this week. Really wanting to hear back from Slade too...

I was supposed to have my interview with NYU today via Skype - but due to technical difficulties on their end (the camera wasn't working), they asked to reschedule. So not sure when my interview will be now... Also congrats on Goldsmith, that's awesome!

Received a rejection from UCLA Painting today via application portal

Congratulations you two, that's fantastic! Out of curiosity, when did you interview and how did you hear back from them? I'm still waiting to hear back but fear rejection at this point.

Still haven't heard a word. Same goes for RISD and Columbia... ?

I think on March 5th there will be the final jurying of the committee and then we should be notified by March 9th

Hey guys! I'm usually active in the 'MFA 2019 freak out forum'. I saw this one and thought I'd chime in: I just finished my interview with Yale. It went really well... and in my experience when interviews go really well, one usually doesn't get in. It was just really friendly, definitely not what I was expecting at all. I was prepared for it to go horribly wrong ? My SAIC interview went wrong and I ended up getting in there. So for those who think it went wrong, I'm sure that's a really good sign ? Good luck to everyone!!

Just received an e-mail from NYU Steinhardt asking to interview with them. Still waiting to hear back from RISD, UCLA and Columbia now.

Amazing, congratulations! I didn't even realise interview e-mails had gone out, I literally never heard back from them!

DHL package finally came from SAIC and it was indeed an acceptance letter! I really didn't think I'd get as the interview went so awful in my opinion ?

Got an e-mail saying I was waitlisted for Cornell. I wasn't home today to receive my DHL delivery from SAIC, so still not sure if I've been rejected or accepted ?Also I still haven't heard anything back from UCLA even though people are getting interviews...

Has anyone interviewed with Yale yet? Or know anyone who has? I've got my interview coming up on the 28th and was curious to see what type of questions they ask. Good luck to anyone who is currently interviewing!

I received an e-mail from DHL saying that a delivery from SAIC is coming on the 25th. Since the interview didn't go well in my opinion, I'm guessing that's my rejection letter... Also found out through the Goldsmith admissions portal that I didn't get in (I didn't get an e-mail from them, which I thought was a bit strange).

Hey guys, I haven't been online in a while. Just a quick update on how things are going: I interviewed with Oxford last year but was rejected immediately this year. I received a rejection from Hunter too. I had my Skype interview with Cornell, which I think went well but you never know until you hear back... Same with Slade. My next one will be Yale on the 28th. Definitely eager to get through the interview stage. Still haven't heard back from several schools, so hopefully that'll happen soon. Congrats to all of you who've had interviews and got accepted already, that's really great!

Found out yesterday night that I have an interview with Cornell for the 15th of February

Had an interview with Central Saint Martins (Painting) yesterday and was offered a place after the interview. Still waiting to hear back from loads of other schools...
