I just received a notice for being wait listed.

I also applied to the psychology and social work PhD! My heart skipped a beat when I saw a prof there clicked one of my publication on researchgate.

Advice needed! Do you guys have experience with updating new publication with the schools that you have applied to? Or is it a good idea at all? I was noticed yesterday that a manuscript I co-authored with my boss (my letter writer) was accepted in a very good journal. Boss kindly suggested he would like to write emails (copy me) to the schools for an update.
