  1. For California they're Feb 21-24 and Mar 7-10. For Florida Feb 14-17.
  2. Search "Harvard neuroscience" on the results page.
  3. It looks like a lot of us who were rejected by Harvard are getting interviews for other great programs, so I'm somewhat comforted that other highly competitive applicants also didn't get in. When you're as hyper-selective as Harvard, admission is kind of a crapshoot. Btw congrats on MIT, I'm still holding out hope!
  4. Last year it looks like they were all sent on the same day so I'm not holding out hope. Definitely if we haven't heard by the end of Friday, I think it has to be a rejection.
  5. Yes!! So happy there's still a chance for us.
  6. Anyone heard from UCSD neuro yet?
  7. I think it depends on the program. From previous years it looks like Harvard PiN always sends all their invites in one big batch so I'm not holding out much hope for them. MIT seems to trickle on at least until the end of December, so still crossing my fingers on that one...
  8. Depends on the program. I know Stanford doesn’t usually send invites until mid January.
  9. What time did you get your PiN offer? I'm trying to figure out if they went out all in one batch or were staggered. Guessing they've all been sent out by now though.
  10. My approach so far has been to ask if there's an alternative interview date, which there often is. If there's not, you can offer to do a Skype interview, and if they still don't allow that, you'll have to decide which one to prioritize.
  11. If you don't pick up they'll leave a message and also send a follow-up email. I picked up for mine and it was kinda nice to chat a bit with the guy from admissions, but I think there's no real harm if you miss it. I only picked up because my phone identified the area code as San Diego and I knew that UCSD does phone invites.
  12. Yeah in this case UCSD's two options overlap with UNC and Scripps. My interview with UNC is confirmed while Scripps won't send invites until January. If I get an interivew from Scripps I'll probably decline in favor of UCSD. Of course, I also applied to the neuro program at UCSD, so I have no idea what I'll do if I get an interview for both programs. I guess I'll probably just pick whichever I prefer. Going to two interviews at the same school seems like a lot.
  13. Just got an interview for UCSD BMS! They're still making calls so keep your phone nearby.
  14. Any idea if they were sent all at once? Still holding out hope...
  15. Ah I’m waiting on them now. Any idea if they’re calling more people tomorrow?
  16. This doesn’t answer your question but which UCSD program is this? Neuro?
  17. I haven't heard yet. I bet it will be sometime in the next day or two. Students start their winter break tomorrow but admins are still working.
  18. Yay! Glad to hear they're still coming out!
  19. I know people have heard back from neuro and BMS. BMS sounds like they sent all the invites in one batch. I'm not sure if neuro is still sending any.
  20. That overlaps with Stanford Neuroscience. I'll have to keep this in mind.
  21. I got an invite on Saturday. My specialization is neurobiology though.
  22. On the MIT neuro website it says your application status will be updated within 2 weeks of the deadline. So I’m guessing those of us who haven’t heard back yet are rejected.
  23. Ah I see, I applied to Neuro and BMS. The timing of their interviews seems to vary a good amount year to year.
  24. Anyone know when UCSD is interviewing?
  25. I'm assuming you mean neuro? I just heard back from their BMS program. Surprised that they would send results on a Saturday. You can always email them to ask. So far admissions reps have been very helpful and willing to answer questions.
