Yes it will be a secure file you must download. It will be an attachment called message1 or something like that. You'll go through a couple hoops but you can just find any W9 form online really and fill it out and scan it back to BBSP

When you get the invite, they will ask for 10-15 faculty interests. It is not by program just BBSP as a whole. You can rotate in different disciplines, and don't have to have your mind all made up right now.

Yes. Got an invite for UTSW in neuro 7 days ago exactly. Dates are all in Jan. From the 10th weekend but not all programs are available each of the 3 weekends. For neuro, it's only the 10th and 31st

Yup. Generic as ever. Sometimes you can email or call and ask about your app so you can improve in the future.

You can always ask for Skype accommodations. But in many cases, they will make you choose and you'll have to prioritize.

I just called. They said they're going out today. Butttt....a lady I spoke to said the latest is early Feb (maybe waitlisters?) So we'll---look who's talking----just have to be patient

Welcome! I met him in person at the ABRCMS conference in mid November and yes it was for neuro.

I spoke to the admissions director and he says they pride themselves on getting their invites out by xmas. Looks like if you dont get it today chances are slim to none.

Also can hit me up. I'm an NIH PREP scholar now applying to schools.

Another postbac is NIH PREP. multiple locations like Brown, Chapel Hill, Baylor. A postbac can show that your not idle for a year even if you dont "need" the experience. It's also a way to build a bridge with some schools bc you're in their backyard. There are still some applications open to some good schools. However, if you're dead set on these, next cycle try and apply to more safety schools to offset the very selective ones.

UT Southwestern! They have 3 interview weekends for their DBS program. All in Jan from the weekend of the 10th through 31st.

I haven't run across one that does. It'll say app completed or ready for review. Vanderbilt IGP explicitly states that your status will not change online. Some others may, so check their FAQs.

I'm sure it's just different avenues to the same destination! Hopefully you get one this week! They said they're just starting.

This is IGP...the umbrella program that encompasses neuro. They will ask for your specific interests on the phone to match you with faculty interviews. You can rotate in any of their 12 disciplines. So yes, I believe they will be the same!

For Vandy they have 3 dates...they're just sending out invites. They're gonna send me a follow up email tonight or tomorrow and I'll share the dates so you can prioritize!
