  1. I got an email from my POI saying that I am a very good fit to his lab and "a letter from the department should be forthcoming". For three weeks I haven't got an official letter, but can I assume that the comment above means an acceptance? It is my top choice and I am very nervous of waiting. Has anyone got similar response and got the final offer? Help me out please!
  2. Me too, obviously each school has their own needs and policies, and I did not see this coming. Just fingers crossed for further invitations.
  3. Thanks, having heard the intensive interviews that applicants go through for HST, I am a little nervous. Well, but only conditional to the interview offer.
  4. Thank you for your kind reply! I want to mention that the GRE score is written in a wrong order, where my Quant is 170, and Qual is 159. Even though it's not making much difference
  5. Hi, I would like to share my profile with you guys. You guys are so strong! My research area is at odds with most of the applicants, which raises two questions I want to ask, 1) would faculty members be interested in someone like me who has artificial intelligence skills? 2) Most programs I have applied to are top tiers, any chance I would get admitted? _________________________________________ Undergrad Institution (approx. rank/reputation in STEM): Rank world 100 generally. 6. I have also applied as Ph.D. GPA 3.5 with seven mildly related research publications. I haven't heard anything yet either. Does anyone know how many positions they have each year?
