    Second time applying for PhDs. Passionate about the work, plus an acceptance would mean my long distance relationship would be short distance one. Professor said he didn't think admissions to either the engineering or sciences program would be a problem after an interview, but that was months ago and doubt creeps in. Just hoping for the best.
