Hello! I posted my acceptance to the Latin American Studies/Information Science program at UT Austin about a week ago! I just noticed that someone asked a question about my acceptance, so I figured I would start a thread. I got an unofficial offer through email, and they said that they would update MyStatus and give me my financial package in a few weeks! Excited to see if any if you also got accepted!

I got into the residential program too! From what I remember from one of the info sessions, they said that there is a possibility for residential students to switch over to the online program. However, because the online program is more competitive, the admissions counselor said that they don't grant every request. I would still try tho!

Applied to UW, UT Austin and the University of Illinois! Waiting anxiously now...
